Rev Erin Martin

We are blessed to have Rev. Erin Martin as our Incumbent. She has a passion and an enthusiasm for engaging all of our community in the church as well as in the field. Her sermons teach and inspire young and old alike with insightful interpretations, modern perspectives and  a light-hearted wit.

Rev. Erin is ever present in our daily lives and shares her time with parishioners, our staff, the church and its many Outreach Programs. Her love of music definitely strikes the right chords with our congregation. Her love of family strengthens our bonds, and all of St James feels a part of hers.

St James Church Sketch

St James the Apostle church retains its charm from the original white clapboard building of 1869 and provides an intimate yet familiar worship space just south of the historic Sharon Temple on Leslie Street.

A long-term property plan has been developed to expand parking, rework the worship area and build a new hall while maintaining the escence of of the church, ensuring we will serve our growing community for years to come.

We invite you to join us for one of our services and experience St James the Apostle, the little church with a big heart.
