Sunday School

St. James offers a Sunday School program for children age 3 to 12. The program takes place during the 10:30am service, from September to June. Join in for an hour of stories, crafts, music and activities in a fun and safe environment. The "One Room Sunday School" curriculum is followed for the majority of the classes.

As an integral part of the congregation, the children at St. James play an important role in the All Ages Services by greeting visitors, doing the readings and collection. They also participate in seasonal events, like the annual Christmas Pageant, and Spring Praise service, and outreach projects to support the community.

All of the Sunday School leaders are screened and trained. They are sensitive to the individual needs of the children, and strive to make Sunday School a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
